North Lindsey League

The North Lindsey League exists for clubs in the north of Lincolnshire. Matches are played on Sundays and are of 40 overs duration. Points are awarded on a win/tie basis so there are no complicated bonus point systems and absolutely no point in playing for what many of us see as a bore-draw.

The unwritten objective of the league is that it should allow younger or less talented players develop their skills outside of the results orientated pressure of Saturday cricket. That does not mean that it is not competitive or that the standard is low - just that winning shouldn't be the only reason for playing!
